Gratitude: November 3
161. Today I am thankful for Elizabeth Renee Monroe. I’m thankful for the beginning of our beautiful friendship on Twitter well over a year and a half ago. I’m thankful for her honesty. I’m thankful for her sense of humor. I’m thankful for the drive & desire she has to serve our God in a big way, not holding back, always looking for a bigger outpouring of the Holy Spirit on her life and the lives of those around her. I’m thankful for the times in the Philippines when we’d pray together for people and get words, visions, and scripture. I’m thankful for how she has stretched me so much to want more of the Holy Spirit in my own life and desire a closer walk with the Lord. I’m thankful for her love of food, coffee, wine, and friendship. I’m also super thankful that she’s a makeup artist (among tens of thousands of other things) because she helps me learn. 🙂
162. Family away from family. Living 3.5 hours from my own family is a bit hard, but God has blessed me with so many wonderful people in Rome that I get to call my family. Sometimes that looks like getting my oil changed by a friend and other times it looks like spending a Sunday afternoon at Goodwill with my best friend’s mom. Regardless – these people are precious to me.
163. I’m thankful that God has given me the ability to love & serve.
