Book Thirty-Two

My goal for several years has been to read 50 books in one calendar year – 52 weeks – but I have always fallen off the rails around 25 books. This year, I’m twice as determined. I will be posting short reviews of each book with my thoughts and any recommendations I received for the book as well as a link to purchase the book from Amazon, (though I recommend checking your local library first). If you have questions, leave a comment! If you want to follow my journey, find me on Goodreads.

Truly, Donna has created a monster. I’m hooked on these Outlander novels and side-stories. This particular novella follows Joan MacKimmie, Jamie’s step-daughter (via Laoghaire… I KNOW RIGHT??) who is going to France to join the convent. She ends up meeting people from other novels (like the Comte who I thought was dead and who evidently travels through time, too). This was a fairly quick read, but left me with SO MANY QUESTIONS. In chronology, I think this one fits right after the seventh full novel, An Echo in the Bone. Gabaldon has created an endless world. She could write a dozen more and not cover all the story lines she has created.
